For those visiting Makoshika State Park in Glendive, Montana, Riverview RV Park offers convenient RV and camping sites within two miles of the State Park. Located away from the highway, but just over the tracks from the Yellowstone River. Riverview is open year round and offers easy access to Highway 94, the Yellowstone River, and downtown Glendive. At Makoshika’s Visitor Center museum, families can view a Triceratops skull and many other artifacts found within the state park. Children may also enjoy a hands-on experience provided at a table just for them, where they can touch some of the fossils and artifacts.
